Willrose Electrical Ltd are VAT registered. Our VAT number is GB226243430. We use the VAT Margin Scheme in accordance with VAT notice 718. Information on the scheme can be found on HMRC's website.

What is the VAT Margin Scheme?

Full information can be found on HMRC's website but in short the margin scheme is for businesses that deal in used or second-hand items or for goods that are bought without a VAT invoice.

I Bought Goods That are New. Why is There no VAT?

All of our goods are second-hand or previously owned. Even though some of our stock maybe boxed, new and unused it will have been purchased as second-hand from a source that cannot provide us with a VAT invoice.

Do You Pay VAT?

Yes Willrose Electrical Ltd pays VAT at the standard rate but the calculation is different under the margin scheme. We pay vat on the margin (profit) between our purchase price and our sales price.

Can I Claim VAT Back on my Purchase?

No as there is no VAT charged or shown on your invoice.
